Here is a simplified version of how this process works:

Questionnaire, Cost, Schedule

1. Please fill out the questionnaire and email it to me.

This questionnaire will help me determine what the client has in mind as well as the overall vision of the project.

2. I will contact the client with further questions (if applicable) and provide a quote, and timeline, for the project.

This quote will cover the cost of the design and implementation of the project (if applicable) - it will not include the cost of any graphics or scripts that will be required for the project. I will always clear extra costs with the client before proceeding. The extra costs will be added to the final bill.

4. Client will be asked to sign a contract and provide half of agreed upon payment before any work will be started.

Once I have received a signed contract and 1/2 of the overall project price, I will provide the client with a proposed project completion schedule.

This schedule will include an ending date. This ending date is a guideline only. If client requests additional work not stated in the original contract after the ending date, the overall project price will be adjusted accordingly. Remaining project balance will be due upon completion.

Design Stage

Website Clients:

1. Please compile all pictures and graphics desired for the website and either email them to me or burn them to a disk and mail them to me.

2. I will design three different templates. I will publish these templates to my personal web host - the templates will not be accessible to the public.

3. While client is waiting for the links to the templates, it's recommended that the client compile all textual information for all pages in the website. Client will also be asked to provide web host usernames and passwords in order for me to gain access to existing web space. (If client does not have web space, I will provide step-by-step instructions on how to obtain domain name and web host).

4. Once templates are completed, client will then examine all three templates and will need to let me know which template he/she desires. (We can certainly combine elements from all three templates, if desired!)

5. Client will be emailed periodic progress reports.

6. Once template is completed, client will examine the template and may make any suggestions.

7. Client will be required to finalize the template. After template has been finalized, I will add all pertinent information.

8. Template will be uploaded to web host.

Design Stage

Blog Template Clients:

1. Please tell me which WordPress theme is desired as well as any links to blogs/websites that client likes. (I will not copy these blogs, but it will give me an idea of which direction the client would like to go).

2. Client should provide graphics and/or pictures for the template at this time. (Or graphic and/or pictures will be purchased at this time).

2a. If client desires own domain name and web space, he/she will be expected to provide me with initial information to help him/her get set up.

3. Client with be provided with two review dates and one final date. Upon these dates, the client will be supplied with a link so he/she can check on the progress of the template and offer suggestions. Any changes to template after final date will result in additional costs.

4. Client will need to provide me with usernames and passwords in order to gain access to blog database. Please provide a temporary password if desired.

5. Template will be uploaded and tested. Any minor changes, i.e. plug-ins, sidebar goodies, will be made at this time. Any structural changes that take place after final template was approved, i.e. color, graphics or theme, will result in additional costs.

Completion

Website Clients:

Once your website is completely installed and everything is to your satisfaction you assume all responsibility of your site, unless, you desire to hire me to maintain your website at which time I will need the name of one contact person from that organization to receive updates from. All updates are generally (depending on the scope of the request) completed within 24-hours of request. Please note: Flash windows/banners will result in additional cost with each request.

Blog Template Clients:

Once your blog is completely installed and everything is to your satisfaction you assume all responsibility of your blog. If, after completion, client desires any changes, additions, and/or revisions, I will be happy to quote you a new price and the whole process starts all over again. (Returning customers will receive 10% off project total).

I want my clients to be completely satisfied. If client has any questions or concerns, please contact me and I'll try my best to help you resolve those issues.

Thank you for your consideration and I look
forward to doing business with you!
